标题 :Method for synthesis of colloidal nanoparticles
发明人:STROUSE GEOFFREY FIELDING; GERBEC JEFFREY A; MAGANA DONNY
权利人:UNIV CALIFORNIA
摘要:A method for synthesis of high quality colloidal nanoparticles using comprises a high heating rate process. Irradiation of single mode, high power, microwave is a particularly well suited technique to realize high quality semiconductor nanoparticles. The use of microwave radiation effectively automates the synthesis, and more importantly, permits the use of a continuous flow microwave reactor for commercial preparation of the high quality colloidal nanoparticles.

摘要:The present invention relates to a platinum (Pt)-molybdenum (Mo) catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen and a method of preparing hydrogen using same, the catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen according to the present invention comprising: a porous carrier; platinum carried in fine pores of the porous carrier; and molybdenum carried in mixture with the platinum in the fine pores. According to the present invention, hydrogen can be effectively obtained from a liquid organic hydrogen storage since dehydrogenation activity is significantly improved even at a low temperature by carrying platinum and molybdenum in a mixed state in the porous carrier.

标题:Multifunctional ceramic particles as solid supports for solid phase and combinatorial solid phase synthesis
发明人:BOSCHETTI EGISTO; KOCIS PETR
权利人:INVITROGEN CORP
摘要:Inert, thermally and mechanically stable porous ceramic solid phase supports for use in solid phase synthesis of molecules wherein the porous ceramic solid supports can be used under a wide variety of reaction conditions and in synthesis methods, including but not limited to organic, regular, multiple parallel, or combinatorial organic synthesis on a solid phase. Methods of using the porous ceramic solid supports for solid phase synthesis of molecules, for solid phase synthesis of polypeptides or peptidomimetics, for generating combinatorial libraries of linkers, and for combinatorial synthesis of compounds, including small molecules and aromatic and heteroaromatic compounds.

标题:Method for continuous cluster and nanoparticle synthesis
发明人:SCHMITT CHRISTIAN; BEHRENS SILKE
权利人:KARLSRUHER INST TECHNOLOGIE
摘要:The present invention relates to a plant for the continuous production of clusters and nanoparticles, in which one or more reactor modules with continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTRs) are provided in a cascade-like arrangement and which is characterized by a modular structure with a variable number and arrangement of the individual reactor modules and stirred tank reactors. The invention further comprises a new process for the continuous synthesis of clusters and nanoparticles in such a plant.

标 题 :Combinatorial synthesis of particulate materials
发明人:KODAS TOIVO T; HAMPDEN-SMITH MARK J
摘要:Methods for fabricating and analyzing particulates having a varying material property such that particulates having a selected desirable material property can be identified. The particulates can be analyzed to determine the particulates having the best properties for a particular application. The particulates can be metals, inorganic compounds, organic compounds and composites. The method of the present invention enables the rapid and economical fabrication and screening of a large number of different compositions.
